If you could write a letter to Santa, how would it be?
Here I wrote a letter as a new mom and all the things new moms I think have in mind when it’s Christmas time.
Check it out and let me know what do you think.
Dear Santa
I hope this letter finds you well. It’s been a lot going on since the last letter I sent you 20 years ago.
Let me tell you this, now that I've become a mom, I hope it’s okay that I did my own letter to you.
I wanted to write and ask you on behalf of first-time moms everywhere, something I think we deserve this holiday:
Some credit
Being a first-time mom, it’s a full-time job, and on Christmas, it’s even harder.
We want to share this adorable moment with our extended families, set up a tree, put up some lights, and make a delicious dinner, but sometimes we can’t do it all at the same time.
We have high expectations and it’s a little frustrating when we don’t have all the support we want.
A little bit more sleep
Santa, it’s been a beautiful year but it has its challenges, please send me a little bit more sleep, sometimes I feel I have slept only 20 minutes a day.
Patience
Finally, Patience to understand that we are not perfect, and we as moms will do anything that is in our hands to give our babies the best care and to try to be in the moment not thinking about why this moment is not perfect and that we don’t have to feel guilty if we don’t know the answer of everything we are passing through.
Unlimited wine supply
Last, but not least, please send me the perfect drink, Badass Mom Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Wine that I can have at any moment of the day guilt-free for moms, with real taste, and bye-bye to non-alcoholic wines that taste like grape juice!
Wishing you and Mrs. Claus a wonderful Christmas
An honest letter from a new mom
